No, because I had this in a previously built workspace with a full unix 
to cross check against.

No, it *fails* if you lint a module and don't have a previously built 
lint (i.e. from a previous full build.)  You'll see error messages.  
You'll note that there were none on my run.

Trust me, this did both pass 1 and pass 2 (pass 2 being the global 
crosschecks.)
