I was in the process of printing various medical research abstracts & apparently something got hung up (my printer status says file sent to printer,waiting for printer to finish).  When I check the printer status in the terminal window using the script my husband gave me, the last line reads: usr/lib/cups/bin/cancel: purge-jobs failed: forbidden

My husband set our computers up w/Linux.  He passed away last month, so I do not know how to get my printer working again.  Can someone help me? Have spent 1 1/2 hours cruising around to see if I could find something that might be of help, but haven't been able to fix this problem.
