[illumos-Developer] Extending zfs command

Hi

There was a question some time ago on #opensolaris if zfs can accept 
globs in subcommands. I thought it would be a good project for me to wet 
my feet, as it doesn't seem overly complicated. I would however need a 
help, someone to help me relearn my C and someone that would be able to 
suggest a direction I should follow.
Would this small project be acceptable and would there be anyone able to 
answer a question from time to time?
