It'd be most reasonable to merge at the build tags, as with any child of
the ON gate.  

Which and how often are probably up in the air, if you'll accept advice,
I'd suggest giving things some time to settle.  Garrett still hasn't
finished cleaning up the fallout from his initial putbacks.
