The last tested versions came from the t+ stable branch, they passed
the VSC test chain in March 2010. The test sources (e.g.
ast-open.2010-07-01, u- alpha) are much much newer (there's
technically nearly a gap of a year between the branch split). We just
thought it may be nice to start with a newer version and used these
_untested_ sources for the test binaries to get a faster cycle time
for bug fixes. I now start to regret this decision because it looks
we're getting judged based on the alpha sources... ;-(
And no, neither I nor Olga did test the binaries. We just did minor
manual test and then send it to the list to get feedback because we
were busy with baby stuff.
