Well, I do not know as I myself am fairly new to OpenSolaris. But if you mean
to run this script nightly, e.g., with some sort of cron job, and if you do
not like the idea of incrementing version numbers, you can surely use
something ".... -Ot `date +%Y%m%d`-nightly ..." or include the output of
"date" in any manner you like.
