So each time you get annoyed by contentious, toxic or otherwise
annoying discussions about a piece of software you remove this from
Illumos gate?
IMO this is the wrong solution, for this project and for you as project leader.
Opensource development goes hand in hand with discussions, sometimes
friendly and cooperative and sometimes hard and toxic. You as the
beneficial dictator of this project have to deal with this and not run
away and remove bits which generate discussion; o' course Joerg is 70%
of the discussion if tar, star and cpio are involved. This is bad but
nowhere from being a situation which cannot be handled within Illumos
gate.

Devils advocate: ZFS is contentious: Bad design, sloppy
implementation, memory squatter and incredibly buggy. Please remove it
from Illumos gate. If you don't obey we will have a 600+ email thread
in this week. I mean it.
