Well, berlios.de is connected to the internet via 155 MBit/s. If you are in a
German university or research institute, you could in theory get 12 MByte/s.
This is what I get from east German universities...
I know from blastwave that supporting China was a problem before there was a
local mirror. There is a mirror at University Ulm that should have 2 GBit/s.
It mway be worth to test this.
