There are about a million things I'm jugging with respect to illumos
right now.  I can't possibly do them all.  I need other people to help
out!

I understand your point.  Keeping sources in sync may or may not be
useful and relevant here -- I'm not sure. 

Ultimately, we have quite a few upstreams, and I cannot personally
handle synchronization with each and every one of them.  I hope you
understand.

If integration of "tr" was all I was handling, it would be different,
but I have at least a couple of dozen different illumos projects I'm
working on or involved with at the moment.
