This change represents a flag-day for people building illumos.  The
sed(1) on your build machine must be the illumos (BSD) sed, not the
closed (Sun) sed as is shipped with oi_148, or you'll get build
failures due to the lack of support for 'sed -E'.

Due to #1217, you may wish to clobber by hand in that directory, if
you have already run a build using the wrong sed (such as that shipped
with oi_148).
