Well by that argument you could import pretty much any GNU
"feature". In this case bsdgrep would needlessly duplicate
GNU grep available from SFW which is e.g. on OI or SX11 the
default grep anyway.
Stuff like recursing filesystem trees and decompressing files
also go against the "one tool for one job" and KISS philosophy,
are non-standard and will probably never be standardized. Why not
keep Illumos modern but minimal?
