Following the instructions to be found in the wiki, step 3, I
noticed<br>
errors which cause the 'dmake install' build to abort.<br>
<br>
1) In gui/help/id/id.po, misplaced char in line 726, `\' instead
of `<br>
', removed -> fixed.<br>
<br>
2) after that,<br>
msgfmt -o cs.mo cs.po<br>
cs.po:4118: `msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not bot end with
`\n'.<br>
msgfmt: found 1 fatal error<br>
I understand, that apparently, somewhere a line end is missing?<br>
<br>
Running dmake install anew, however, compiled the offending cs.po
only<br>
to return to the same error with German, Italian, Brazilian
Portugese,<br>
and some Chinese. From that, I gather that there was not really
buggy<br>
code. I think one can safely ignore that behaviour. It is not
elegant,<br>
though, to start 'dmake install' six times to get a compilation.
Could<br>
somebody point me where to look for the offending code?<br>
<br>
1) however, constitutes an error. After ten years in Linux, I
never<br>
did this sort of thing. What is the correct way to submit a fix?<br>

P.S.: I looked at the German locale translations in<br>
pkg-gate/src/gui/help/de. While not exactly wrong, one could work
at<br>
the language. I would like to contribute a better wording. Can I
get<br>
that issue assigned to me somehow?<br>
