I was running SchilliX under VB here while testing it and I currently run it
under VB while creating an environment that makes SchilliX self-hosting
(allowing to compile the Illumos [the comminutiy version of "onnv"] on
SchilliX).
I don't see any problem with the GRUB menu.lst.
What problem do you have?

I don't use vi but my own editor "ved" (which I use since 1982), so I usually don't
notice that vi is missing. Ved is in the PATH ;-)
Easy fix:
cd /usr/bin
ln -s ../has/bin/* .
Funny note: /usr/bin/edit and /usr/bin/vedit both are the original vi.
So this is one of the late bugs introduced by Snorcle.
