Of course... if I find a bug in either star or AST pax, I will let the
upstream know.  I will however perform my own tests and comparisons
between the programs to make my own determination about the
implementations.

That said, if there are *specific* tests that I should perform, then I
would like detailed information (out of band please).

I will be comparing behavior with existing Sun tar/cpio/pax as part of
my baseline effort.

I probably won't get to this right away.. frankly the closed source
archiver is far less critical than other components, as it is not
required to actually build the source.
