Hello, the problem is that he explicitly disables the iommu which
consequently disables higher level functionality, including - among
other things - VT-x/Vanderpool and how it was called by AMD and later
Intel at different time frames, which does _not_ need to be added
anymore, as it is already present in Vbox, and in Xen as well.

I did not yet google around.
This is just from memory and some guessing.

Solution: Go back to the last snv version that still works on your hw,
as you expect it to work.
Then identify which lines of code broke it.
Afterwards implement the work-around.
