That's not exactly what I'm talking about (if I understood you
correctly). I mean the bootstrapping process, building critical stuff
(critical for the build) from usr/src/cmd (maybe other places),
installing it to some temporary location (inside the proto/?) and making
that location first in the path, so when I invoke e.g. sed, I know for
sure that I'm using correct version. I hope that made sense and sorry if
that's exactly what you mean, I just failed to find anything related in
usr/src/tools.
