This seems to be promising news. Before, FreeBSD was using GNU iconv and GNU 
libiconv - of course as a second class citizen. YOu even had to manually add
-I and -L flags for compilation in otder to make the code visible.

I am not sure on whether Coverity would do this for free for the Solaris 
codebase.
